SIOBHAN FAHEY
Siobhan Fahey was a journalism student at the London College of Fashion at the time the New Romantic scene took off. She went on to form Bananarama with Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward and co-wrote many of their hits including Cruel Summer, Robert De Niro’s Waiting and Love In The First Degree. In 1988, Fahey left to form Shakespears Sister with Marcella Detroit. The duo’s hits included Stay, which occupied the top of the UK singles chart for eight weeks in 1992. This year saw the reformation of Shakespears Sister and a new EP, Ride Again. They’re on tour this November.
