Scammers impersonate dentists to con patients
Scammers have been posing as real dentists to trick patients who find it hard to book an NHS appointment.
The British Dental Association (BDA) has warned that fraudsters are using fake websites and Facebook posts to ask for payments upfront before vanishing with their money. Some victims have lost up to £300 in the scams.
