DOUBLE-DOUBLE TROUBLE

In October, Greenpeace Canada released the results of its Plastic Polluters Brand Audits, conducted during World Cleanup Day, September 15. Based on the trash collected, the non-proit declared Nestlé—think Cofee Crisp, Smarties, and Pure Life water botles— as the worst polluter. Tim Hortons— cups and lids—came in second. “Results suggest that the recyclability of a product does not necessarily reduce its likelihood of being found in a shoreline or community cleanup”, Greenpeace Canada said in a press release. Sounds like a literal load of rubbish.
