Mantel Moments
Few décor pieces are more iconic during the holidays than the classic fireplace mantel. It’s the place where the stockings are hung with care and fireplaces are Santa’s personal point of access. Sharon has decorated hers in a variety of ways over the years and shares some of her favorite designs.
• JINGLE BELLS.
Sharon’s decorative inspiration for this mantel was large gold bells and warm Christmas lighting in gold, greens and blues. “I added a cozy cluster of candles to ground my mantel and, to tie everything together, I hung matching stars above the mantel and a matching starburst garland across it.” Black accents, along with a Christmas sign over arched windows from Décor Steals, were the perfect touches.
