ROOMY & AIRY. With plenty of space to accommodate two teenaged daughters and several rescued dogs (Alicia serves on the boards of local animal organizations), this breezy kitchen has lots of room to move around while cooking and also features an abundance of cabinetry. Mary says, “I love that this kitchen is chock full of storage but that there is a place for everything, so it is tucked away, out of sight, but ready for use.”

BYGONE BEAUTY. With room to spare, Mary says that the kitchen has “the perfect balance of space and charm.” The hand-cut exposed brick wall makes the kitchen look like it was pulled from a 19th-century farmhouse, and plays well with custom-stained hardwood ffflooring, a white oak wooden hood and a Kohler apron-front sink.
