BOTTLEBRUSH BEAUTIES.
You can score bottlebrush trees from vintage stores, but also from Hobby Lobby, Target and Anthropologie. Toni got hers from Hobby Lobby. Sitting amid vintage ornaments, they have a distinctly retro vibe. “For vintage ‘looking’ ornaments and trees, Hobby Lobby, Target and Anthropologie are my faves,” Toni says. “And for actual vintage ornaments, I’m always hitting up yard sales, flea markets and estate sales.”
RAVISHING RIBBONS.
Curling ribbons hearken to the types of ribbons used when you have a department store wrap your Christmas gifts and immediately mentally transports you to a festive and elegant boutique. Simply leave excess ribbon when hanging your ornaments and curl the ends with scissors for this fabulous touch.
COZY UP.
A white sheepskin rug from Longaberger covers the bench and another one drapes over the dining chairs. The pillow covers, sewn by Toni’s mother-in-law, are made from a vintage European grain sack. “I added throw blankets to both sides of the table for all the cozy vibes,”Toni says. The white throw on the bench is from HomeGoods, the throw on the chair is from The Loomia and the fauxfur tree skirt is from Big Lots.
