Issue Cover

Dance Today  |  April 2012

With our Junior cover stars, Lloyd Perry and Rebecca Scott, this issue has a youthful feel. The pair share their experience of what it was really like to perform on the famous “Got To Dance” stage on page 22, and we hear from Latin showdancers Ryan Hammond and Lindsey Muckle, who also reached the show’s semi-finals, and “GTD” judge Kimberly Wyatt (who has some news of her own on page 8). On page 16, Laura Dodge, last year’s winner of Dance Today’s Correspondance competition for young writers, reports from the frontline of MOVE IT 2012, where dancers from all over the UK strutted their stuff on the main stage and at the exhibition’s many classes. As for all the Juveniles and Juniors preparing for Blackpool Junior Dance Festival, we would like to wish you the very best of luck from us at Dance Today!
