We're celebrating the Sounds of the '70s as we arrive at part two of 911&PW's 911 at 50 celebrations.
The 911 in the 70s is when the 911 really came of age. Think '73 RS, think Martini livery, Pascha trim, the bold 'Safety colours,' this was the 911's time. But what of the enemy within? The 928 was waiting in the wings, but as history tells it was a false dawn for the front-engined GT car as the quirky 911 accelerated away.
