Fall is a time of great natural beauty, but it’s also a busy season. The kids are back at school with all their various activities, sports teams and book clubs have started back up, and it’s hard to find time to decorate for the season. But you don’t have to decorate every nook and cranny of your home to have fall-ready décor. Blogger Marian Parsons of Miss Mustard Seed decorated two strategic areas of her home: room mantel and her dining room table. With just these two areas, she gave her home a cozy feel that didn’t take up too much of her time or money. “It’s simple,” she says. “It didn’t take much time. It didn’t cost a lot.” And yet, it looks fabulous.
In the living room, the fall mantel makes the whole room look cozy. In addition to the small pumpkins on the mantel, Marian added several larger pumpkins below, by the fireplace.
