A sale of books, maps and ephemera at Bellmans (22% buyer’s premium) included more than £17,000 worth of 19th and 20th century watercolours and drawings from the stock of a dealer.
Offered without estimate or reserve, the 100-lot collection up for sale on July 17 formed the remnants of the deceased estate and featured a variety of landscapes, marine pictures and figures by both known and unknown hands.
