Girl Guides pamper their esteemed guests

Agnes Mackenzie receiving a ‘home delivery’ of afternoon tea goodies from two Guides.

TARBERT Village Hall was buzzing with conversation and laughter on Sunday June 4 when the 1st Tarbert Guides hosted a scrumptious afternoon tea for invited guests. Delighted to receive a Co-op community grant of £2,357 in April, the Tarbert Guides wanted to give something back to the community who supported them.

‘We’ve been given a lot and we would like to give something back,’ said Eden, 14, as she welcomed the guests. ‘Everyone here has been nominated by someone else. We feel that they deserve a thank you for their help and support, not just to us in Guides but to the wider community.’
