JUST two weeks away, Mid Argyll Music and Arts Festival (MAMAFest) is already creating a buzz in the area as a jam-packed line-up is announced. In just its fourth year, the festival is boasting a programme full of local acts, bands from as far as Glasgow and some new acts who have never performed in public before.
A change of venue, to Ardrishaig Public Hall has left organisers excited with the scope of what they can do over the three days.
MAMAFest organiser Liz Miller said: ‘We are all really excited about this year’s festival. The new venue will allow for a bigger capacity, which is great because the evening events are always so popular. We are working hard to bring it back after last year and to make it an even bigger and better success than ever but we are still needing sponsorship or donations to help with running costs.’
