Still time to have a say on Argyll and Bute Council budget

AHEAD of next month’s budget, Argyll and Bute Council is asking the public what council services matter most.

But you will need to be quick as the consultation ends on Monday January 9.

Council leader Dick Walsh said: ‘We have already identified nearly £4 million of savings for 2017/18 through budget decisions made last year and additional efficiency savings that will have no impact on communities for next year. We want to match, as far as possible, the work of the council to the priorities of our communities. We’d like to hear from as many people as possible about what matters most.’
