INVERARAY Parish Church is holding a book fair next month, offering bookworms in the royal burgh a good read without the travel.
The book fair will take place on the first Monday of the month, starting in October, and is being held in its church hall.
Dorothy Paterson, speaking on behalf of the church, said: ‘The book fair will allow people to pick up books at reasonable prices - 50p for a paperback and £1 for a hardback - which is less time consuming and cheaper than travelling to Lochgilphead or Dunoon libraries for their reading material.’
