Arran musician Iain Clarke, along with musical partner Helen Matthews, will perform at three venues on Arran during their autumn tour as Calluna Duo. Past Arran High School pupil, who has been involved in many musical ventures on Arran, Iain is currently studying piano performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Joining him at the Royal Conservatoire, Helen – who is the woodwind section of the duo – performs on the oboe.
Playing a wide repertoire the autumn tour is called Music through the ages: From Bach to Gershwin and beyond.
Starting on Tuesday September 4, the initial performance will be at St Bride’s Church, Lochranza at 7.30pm. The following evening, at the same time, the duo will be performing at Corrie Parish Church. The final performance, once again at 7.30pm, will be on Thursday September 6, at St Molio’s Church in Shiskine.
