Betsy talk

There will be a free talk on a project celebrating the life of Betsy Miller of Saltcoats, the first Scottish female sea captain, at 2pm on Wednesday March 8 in Arran Library, Brodick.

It will be given by Arran’s Bethan Remmington, one of North Ayrshire Council’s Team Betsy modern apprentices. There is also an exhibition on the same subject running for the next four weeks in the library. For more information call 302835.
