First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and her cabinet will meet on Arran on Monday August 27 to celebrate the contribution rural and island communities make to the Scottish economy. Cabinet secretaries will take part in a full programme of events on the island, visiting organisations, community groups and businesses in the morning before the cabinet meets.
There will follow a discussion at Arran High School, led by the First Minister, with pupils and members of the public.
