A multi-organisational connectivity day was held at Arran High School last week when schoolchildren, members of the public and local business people were introduced to the benefits and advantages of using technology and high speed broadband.
The event, involving input from the University of the West of Scotland, NAC, Business Gateway, HIE, Argyle College, Arran High School, Scottish Futures Trust, Broadway Partners and ConnectArran, took place from 2pm to 6pm and included a Arran-Skills event where businesses on the island were invited to join speakers from Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the University of the West of Scotland.
