Arran Mountain Rescue Team (AMRT) enjoyed a day of training in the bright summer sunshine last Sunday as they conducted a joint exercise with the Police Scotland Mountain Rescue Team.
A spokeswoman from AMRT said: ‘Both AMRT and Police Scotland MRT headed to the Rosa Slabs area of Goatfell to practise and share skills using various rope rescue techniques. After this, some of the team explored the steep, precarious ground around the west side of Goatfell before heading off the hill via Coire Chatan.
