David Aitcheson has a vast knowledge of the island’s archaeological past and is presenting a series of short talks this month at Arran Heritage Museum.
Lasting approximately 45 minutes and taking place in the museum’s archaeology room, this is a wonderful opportunity to absorb some of the ancient happenings and ways of life on Arran from centuries ago.
There are two sessions, on Wednesdays 17, 24 and 31 August, starting at either 1.30pm or 3pm. Booking is not essential but the talks will be on a first come first served basis as no additional charge is being made other than the normal museum entry fee. These talks only take place when David is available so will be well worth attending.
