A golfer from Whiting Bay has been selected to play for Scottish Disabilty Golf’s Team Scotland.
John Pennycott has been chosen to play against a squad from England along with 11 other disabled golfers from across the country.
The event, for the Phoenix Cup, will be played at the Linden Hall Resort and Hotel near Blyth, in Northumberland, over three days from Monday June 20. The golfers have qualified through the Scottish order of merit championship tables, with several captain’s wildcard selections plus a team coach.
