Children’s market fundraiser

A children’s market fundraising event is being held in Lamlash church hall on Sunday August 20 from 11am until 3pm. The idea is to sell baby, toddler and children’s items in order to raise funds for the children’s Christmas party in December.

Organiser Debbie Ann Doig told the Banner: ‘I attended the Christmas party last year with my daughter Arianna, who was 11 months at the time, and we had a great day. I could not believe it all happened through fundraising from another local mum. I decided that I wanted to help.’

There will be stalls selling children’s clothes, toys, jewellery, baby massage, tombola, raffle, and tea and coffee. The Co-op in Lamlash has kindly donated prizes for the raffle. Entry is £1 but children are free. All proceeds will go towards the children’s Christmas party
