More than 70 runners will take to the roads of Brodick on Sunday for the 30th anniversary run of the Isle of Arran Ormidale 10k.
A record 71 runners have signed up online, with more expected on the day and although some rain is forecast conditions look favourable for the event.
The race starts at Ormidale Park at noon and will take runners on a fairly flat course up Knowe Road and out past the castle to Merkland Point at the north end of Brodick Bay.
