Arran take the honours in international match

The Arran and Team Florida players join together for a pre-match photo before the game.

Brodick Bowling Club was the venue for an unlikely international match against US opposition when bowlers from Brodick and Blackwaterfoot joined forces to play the friendly international against Team Florida.

Team Florida was made up of 17 members from various bowling clubs in Florida – Mount Dora, Clear water, On Top of the World, Sun City and Sarasota – who were touring Scotland and Ireland, playing against selected clubs.
