ENGLAND ATHLETICS AWARDS
THE England Athletics Hall of Fame, which was launched in 2008, was set up to celebrate the exploits of athletes and acknowledge the influence that coaches, members of the media and administrators have played in the sport’s rich history.
The latest wave of inductees into the England Hall of Fame takes place on Saturday October 15 at an annual dinner at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham which also sees grassroots awards given to coaches, clubs and officials.
The evening is presented by Katharine Merry and the Hall of Fame inductions are run alongside the National Volunteer Awards where people in the sport are recognised for their outstanding work in their communities and across the country.
