Right from childhood we are told that we are what we eat — generally as a warning to stop us scoffing too many naughty foods. It’s true, we are a product of what we put into our bodies, but we are also when we eat.
Our bodies function on a cycle, called the circadian rhythm. It oversees our regulatory processes each day, and the better it functions, the better we do. I get to travel a lot, which is incredible, but I always crave that rhythm and routine when I’m eventually on my way home.
