Born in Melbourne, Australia, Peter Tatchell has been battling for human rights since 1967 when, aged 15, he launched a campaign against the death penalty. Four years later, Peter moved to London and joined the fight for LGBTQ freedom, becoming a leading activist in the Gay Liberation Front, then radical queer group OutRage! Now 67, his fighting spirit is as strong as ever and he continues to speak up for the silenced all over the world as part of his work with the Peter Tatchell Foundation.
