The kindness catch up with Louise Pentland

Image: Nicky Johnston

Louise Pentland is no stranger to social media. She’s one of the original YouTube stars whose career evolved from her blog, Sprinkle of Glitter, to become the successful businesswoman and ‘mum-influencer’ she is today. During the last decade she has clocked up 237.4 million views on her YouTube channel and has 2.4 million subscribers and counting. She was also named the UN Change Ambassador in 2016, and has written four books, becoming a number one Sunday Times best-selling author. Yet despite her success, Louise is still as down to Earth as ever – her niche is relatable lifestyle and parenting, that often features her two daughters, Darcy, aged eight, Pearl, aged one, and boyfriend, Liam. Her content has seen her discuss plastic-free periods, share secondhand children’s clothing hauls and even film her labour experience during Pearl’s birth. We caught up with her to discuss the highs and lows of living life online.
