These days choosing the right syndicate to suit your own personal carp fishing situation is essential. With prices as much as £2000 for a single season it’s an expensive mistake to make if you suddenly realise after a few sessions that this fishery is not for you. Syndicate fishing has become more and more popular as time goes on. There are several reasons for this, and it’s not just about the fish. A syndicate offers a certain security. They are more often than not locked sites where only fellow syndicate members can gain access. This means no nuisance visitors, dog walkers or more importantly tackle thieves, although I know this still happens regardless on some venues.
The camaraderie of a syndicate is second to none, if you so desire, although you can keep yourself to yourself if you wish. However most find that it soon becomes syndicate versus carp, and the catches of all the syndicate guys are well received.
