Kelly says ‘no’ to English club TOMMY Kelly, Campbeltown Pupils captain and right half, has decided ‘not to bother’ with the offer made him by Hartlepool United, the fourth division English side.
Instead he will go for a trial with a Scottish second division club early in the New Year. If he was offered a contract with them, Tommy says that he would definitely take it.
Asked about the Pupils chances in the Scottish Amateur Cup, Tommy commented: ‘I am confident we will go pretty far, as the Pupils are building up a strong team. I would like to say the Pupils really need Mike McGougan, who has missed the last couple of games. He is a great player to have in any team.
