MORE than £11,000 in grants is up for grabs for Kintyre projects designed to improve people’s health.
Kintyre Health and Wellbeing Network has been awarded £11,210 from the local grant fund to be awarded to projects, groups or organisations that meet the four criteria in the new Joint Health Improvement Plan.
This funding is for activities to improve the health of the population such as increasing participation in physical activity opportunities, creating opportunities for older people to socialise with each other, and health fairs in local communities.
