Wild reading’s a hoot

CHILDREN all over Britain have taken part in the Big Wild Read, but few will have been as lucky as the children in Kintyre.

The ninth national summer reading challenge – a massive reading promotion for four- to 11-year-olds that has run in libraries throughout the summer holidays – saw children challenged to read six or more books.
