TEN HUSKY dogs have been seized by the police after two were involved in a sheep worrying incident in Inveraray last Sunday.
Two of the dogs, described by police as ‘husky-types’, were seen in fields behind Inveraray Police Station at 5.20pm, alleged to be ‘at large and worrying sheep’.‘The two dogs were caught and checks revealed that at least three sheep suffered leg injuries’, said Sergeant Iain MacNicol. A 55-year-old man, who is said to own the dogs, attended the scene and police report that a further eight dogs in his ownership were seized.
