A COURT was told that the partner of a man who went to her house brandishing an axe would stick by him.
At an earlier hearing, William Johnson Smith, 31, of 9 Davaar Avenue, Campbeltown, pleaded guilty to two charges – one of brandishing the axe, swearing and hitting doors and windows, and the other of recklessly destroying property.
Smith’s defence solicitor Stephen McSporran said that his client had already paid £1,000 towards the damage.
