In aid of YMCA huts

THE PUBLIC of Campbeltown are under a debt of gratitude to the Educational Committee of the local Co-operative Society for organising such a splendid concert as that held in the Victoria Hall on Tuesday evening in aid of the YMCA huts.

Professional talent was engaged for the occasion, and that the venture was appreciated was evidenced by the large audience which filled the hall in every part. And the gathering was in no way disappointed. The concert was a splendid success throughout. The platform decorations in a scheme of red, white and blue, with national flags at either side, were very effective and pleasing to the eye.
