Churches look to the future

The four churches in the Campbeltown parish group have begun the process of reviewing their provision.

Representatives from the four congregations – Southend, Carradale, Highland and Lorne and Lowland – met on Monday evening and one of the possibilities discussed is the union of Highland and Lorne and Lowland.

Both Lorne and Lowland and Highland are currently vacant since the retirement of he Reverend Michael Lind, six years ago, and the Reverend Philip Wallace’s move to Renfrew North last week.
