CAMPBELTOWN footballer Donald Mc-Callum made a quick impact again on Sunday when he scored after only six minutes for Dumbarton in the SPFL Championship.
With second-tier status secured for another season, The Sons finished their league campaign at already-relegated Alloa Athletic, where McCallum, a half-time substitute, made the score 1-1 on 51 minutes with a shot into the roof of the net from close range, to secure a point for his side.
McCallum, a former Campbeltown Grammar pupil, told The Courier: ‘It was great to get some more game time and experience under my belt, and it was a real buzz to score.’
