Tennis club’s ace anagram winner

One lucky competitor, out of 15 anagram aces in a tennis club fundraiser, won a 20-year-old Cadenhead’s Arran malt.

Ella Stewart collected her prize from Campbeltown Lawn Tennis Club’s Jane Gallagher at a presentation on Monday morning.

At least 250 players entered the competition, to raise further funds for the recently completed pavilion and nearly half the sheets were bought at Keith’s newsagents run by George McMillan. The quiz featured tennis puzzlers on one side and whisky related anagrams on the reverse.
