Beat the office snack attack
We’ve all helped ourselves get through a less-than-stimulating meeting with the assistance of a breakfast pastry or cheeky biscuit from the office tin – but it’s time our employers stopped leading us astray when it comes to unhealthy snacking, says new research. The study, of over 2000 employees, found UK companies are guilty of rewarding us with sugary snacks to celebrate our good work, and nearly 80 per cent of meeting room nibbles are less than healthful – including the likes of fizzy drinks, cakes and biscuits.
