20 That’s how many lies we tell – yes, even those of us who think of ourselves as totally honest – when it comes to our not-so-healthy habits. According to new research, we tell on average 20 fibs about our lifestyles a week, including 13 per cent of us who downplay the amount of alcohol that we consume and seven per cent who falsely claim to never eat takeaways. Our take? Team healthy encourages everything in moderation – and that includes treating ourselves to a delicious slice of cake now and then, skipping the gym when we feel exhausted, and drinking the occasional ice-cold beer as the weather warms up.
