E.A.T. is the creation of Jozefína Lichtenegger, the wife of Heinz Lichtenegger the man who founded Pro-Ject in 1992 – precisely the time the rest of the world had given up on turntables. A bold, seemingly crazy move that has resulted in his brand dominating the European vinyl revival. E.A.T. is a relatively high-end offshoot of Pro-Ject with some exotic products in its range, including the Jo No5 MC cartridge and a valve phono stage.
