PAPERLESS committee meetings are to be implemented by Argyll and Bute Council in order to save around £250,000.
The council says paperless committees alone will save around £40,000 per year with councillors and officers accessing reports for meetings online. Councillor Rory Colville, Argyll and Bute Council’s policy lead for corporate services, said: ‘These are diffcult times for all councils.
Our first priority, in making the savings we must to bridge our funding gap, is to look at what we can do within the council to work smarter.
