THE LODGE on Loch Lomond staff were busy in the lead up to Christmas, working alongside Bidfood to donate to six food banks across Greater Glasgow.
The donations were worth just over £6,000. The Lodge on Loch Lomond started donating to food banks four years ago. As support for the hotel has grown, so too has the value of donations made.
This year saw the largest donation to date and owner Niall Colquhoun has no plans of stopping. He said: ‘We’d like to thank the guests that continually support the Lodge and Inn on Loch Lomond. We are fortunate to have so much. Donating food is a small way of helping people not so fortunate.’
