Hannah Calder sings her entry for this year’s Mòd to her former Gaelic teacher, Chrissie MacEachen, on a visit to Chrissie’s home in Caol this week.
IF ANYONE epitomises the Royal National Mòd it is Gaelic singer, Mòd gold medallist and choir conductor Chrissie MacEachan, of Caol, writes Mark Entwistle.
Countless singers and choirs have benefited from Chrissie’s expert tutelage over the years, and this year, as in previous years, many of those competing and spectating were looking forward to greeting the Uist native at this week’s Mòd in Fort William.
