THERE may be a last minute reprieve for a 155-year-old charity after some volunteers have come forward to take vital positions in the organisation.
Last week, columnist Robert Robertson broke the news that the well established Glasgow Islay Association would need to fold if new volunteers didn’t come forward.
But at an AGM tonight, Thursday, in Partick Burgh Hall at 7pm, office bearers will be sworn into the roles of secretary, treasurer and chairperson.
