PLANS to build a new play park in the centre of Caol were given a huge boost earlier this month after being awarded £100,000.
The team behind the project, Caol Play, is now hoping that the play park can be built by the end of this year thanks to the six-figure sum from WREN, a not-for-profit business that funds community projects.
Damian MacDonald, who has led the project, said he was delighted with the news: ‘The play parks in the area are not fit for use in Caol. All going well the new park will be getting built this year.’
