ORGANISERS of the Royal National Mòd are looking for volunteers for this year’s event in Fort William.
From October 13 to 21 this year, Fort William will play host to a celebration of Gaelic language and culture, with hundreds of singers, musicians and speakers from all across the country descending on the West Highland town.
The role of a Mòd volunteer involves collecting admission fees, helping spectators and competitors find their way around town and assisting with the day-to-day running of the event. The Mòd will take place in a number of venues including Lochaber High School, The Nevis Centre, St Andrews Church, Duncansburgh Church, Bun-Sgoil Lochabair and Caol Community Centre.
