SINGER JASON DERULO EMBRACES PLANT BASED DIET

US musician Jason Derulo recently announced that he has transitioned to a vegan diet. He follows in a long line of celebrities recently changing their eating habits towards more plant based foods, including fellow singer Ne-Yo, Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, and Orange is the New Black actress Danielle Brooks. Derulo made the comments to Men’s Health, stating the benefits he’d noticed since removing animal products from his diet. He explained: “I feel lighter, I feel healthier. My eyeballs are super-white. You really need to have a bunch of greens and… things you enjoy as well. Spinach is something I could eat consistently, and mushrooms, and vegetable soup. I love lentils, I love all the different things you can do with jackfruit.”
