Where there’s a hill

Elizabeth Heathcote

ARE YOU A mountain or sea person? I think we all have a landscape that calls to us, the fantasy place we would escape to if we ran away from it all. For me, it is mountains and, in particular, the wild Cumbrian fells, which I have walked all my life. As the months grow since my last visit, I start looking on property websites, fantasising that I can somehow square the circle of work, family and friends in London, and the peace and natural beauty that I crave.
