These recipes are taken from the book The Dinner Ladies: Fill Your Fridge And Freezer by Australian mums Sophie Gilliatt and Katherine Westwood, who met at the school gates nearly 10 years ago, and set up a food business, making and delivering home-cooked meals. Accessible, inspiring and easy, the recipes in the book are divided into chapters, including ‘Thinner Dinners’, ‘Cosy Kitchen Suppers’, ‘Spice and Fire’, and ‘Crowd-pleasers’.
The pair’s influences come from ‘all over the world, great chefs and street food, plus home-cooking learned from our mothers. What matters to us is that food is honest, nourishing and full of flavour.’
